Football commentator bingo

You know what they’re going to say.

The clichés. The predictions. The inevitable mention of the weather. Turn the commentary into a game of its own.

But For Who?Commentator bingo

Spot it. Mark it. Make a noise.

Make your cards above, then tap a square when it happens.

Four in a row.
One very smug mate.

Listen for the phrases and commentary moments on your card. The quoted squares mean the phrase itself; the descriptive squares count when the commentator covers that topic. Agree whether close variations count before starting.

Choose one to twelve players and generate your cards. Each 4 × 4 card has sixteen different prompts. Tap a square to mark it, and tap again to undo. A full row, column or diagonal wins; you can carry on for a full house.

Use the card selector to move between players on one device. To give everyone their own sheet, print the whole set or choose Save as PDF in your browser’s print window. Cards are designed for A4 paper.

One moment can satisfy more than one square if both descriptions apply. Each square is marked only once. Start everyone together and agree on shared wins if two people complete a line at the same time.

No live feed or microphone is connected. You mark the moments yourself. Your cards and marks stay on this page until you reload. This is a free website game, separate from the But For Who? mobile app.
